On the morning of July 18, 2019, Thursday I called this Schumacher model home location, in an attempt to make a appointment to see one of the model homes. The man I spoke to said I didn't have to make an appointment, I could just come in. The man said they closed at 6pm that day, but online the location hours say open until... This review was chosen algorithmically as the most valued customer feedback. The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I actually got a check back because a couple allowance items came in under budget . I keep scratching my head reading some of the awful experiences others have had. It seems to me that Schumacher has a tight cost accounting system that allows them to be very cost effective, and able to call on their vendors to "get things done".

I had to fire my original builder for a $37,000 overage on grading with no prior communication or notice!!! Get as many items in the contract as firm bids as possible. This will require work, reasearch and time on your part...but that's true for any builder.
